Dean's Den: Private Deck w/ Jacuzzi and a View

The way place was very clean, quiet, and relaxing. Can’t wait to go back again. Positive: Everything! We had a great relaxing time! Negative: No table outside on the deck and fridge was too small.

A perfect cozy get away in nature with easy access to restaurants and low key night life. Positive: We love that we were able to book a remote-feeling get away with nice comfortable amenities, including a wonderful, clean, hot tub, for a reasonable price. We were finding comparable listings in places like Fredericksburg for twice the cost. We thought this would be a sacrifice in location, but we fell in love with New Braunfels and Gruene, and are excited to come back and bring our kids. We never saw the host, but they left a lovely welcome note and made sure they were available for any problems. There were no problems. Maybe it was their detailed checked in information or the wonderful property but it was a seamless two nights. The dark skies at night were great and getting to see some small wildlife like a fluffy cottontail bunny was a fun bonus. The WiFi was reliable which was nice in case of a work emergency. Not having a TV was also appreciated! Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like! We loved the natural lighting but would recommend people bring a sleep masks if an afternoon nap is on the agenda. Bringing your own pillows might be good as my partner thought they were too flat.

The property was beautiful. I was a little taken aback when I realized there was no TV. But that was my fault for not verifying. Loved the deck and the view, the hot tub was amazing, and the interior of the property was excellent. It was a bit of a walk to get to the property from the parking, but the owner graciously supplied luggage carts. It is a very quiet area where relaxation is the word of the day. Highly recommended!
